Green Cleaning cost so much! Why is it worth it? The hippies had it figured out in the early 60’s, peace, love, and respect for mother earth, but how does that relate to today’s culture. It seems everywhere you look, companies are promoting “going green”. But,is this just a popular slogan, or are there real benefits to going green.

This is not a science blog, so I’ll leave all the serious number crunching to those techie blogs and look at it from my perspective.  The world’s population is exploding, literally, and with this explosion there also comes an explosion in consumption It’s anti-capitalism to preach about leading a conservative lifestyle, but how long can we continue to deplete our natural resources before we run out. Oooopps, stepping back off the soap box.
Other writers have expressed it far better than I, but you get the point.
Cleaning is something every household, does. Well, at least I hope they do. And as such, each household gets the opportunity to choose what products they use. The EPA can tell you about ”Excessive phosphate blooms”

But who has a clue what that means. However, it’s just common sense. Do you really want unnecessary chemicals around your family. It may take year before the science labs determine what all the common chemical do during a life time of exposure.
Tell me what you think about it. Are you willing to pay extra, and if so how much to use cleaners that pass the “green” test even if it means it cost a little more?

Wow this seems to be in the news lately.  I saw that in NY Nike I think it was and other major retailers had to shut down their stores for extermination.  It seems they are hitching rides on trucks and other vehicles and spreading like crazy.  This National Geographic video is disturbing to say the least.  If you have bedbugs, don’t call us till after your exterminate!

I have recently cut down several branches and need them hauled away, chipped, whatever. Willing to barter a pay reasonable fee to get this done. I’ll post it on CL in a few days if no responses here.
